Back in October I blogged about Topshop going interactive for London Fashion Week by showing their range on the catwalk live on their website. As London Fashion Week hits the fashion world again, Mulberry are taking similar steps to get their Autumn/Winter range modelled on the catwalk also viewed online via their website.
They did this in 4 different ways:
1. Live showing
Mulberry took to the catwalk on Sunday and all customers were emailed reminding them to watch it online:
During the live showing, you could sign up to keep up to date about when the collection will be launched but the video itself was not as interactive as Topshop’s previously.
Twitter was kept active with updates about models, backstage action, prints and styles for 2013. They also had reminders about the live show and linked to other social media sites such as Pinterest:
3. Look book
There is then a look book where you can check out each outfit again and there is another chance to sign up for when the collection launches.
The blog is interesting for followers of Mulberry because it tells you even more about their shows at London Fashion Week. The post below gives details about the set they use as well as interviews with models and details about the collections. They promote the blog as a behind the scenes and back stage pass for customers.
Mulberry have done well to get everyone talking about their ranges keeping customers interested for when these ranges are launched in store and online.
